1995 - Mount Elizabeth Hospital joined IHH Healthcare, which already owned Gleneagles Hospital and Eastshore Hospital. This made Parkway Hospitals the largest private healthcare group in Singapore and one of the most prominent in Asia.
1992 - Addition of a new wing to cope with higher demand for medical suites.
1985 - Change in management to National Medical Enterprises Incorporated, the largest healthcare company in the United States.
1979 - The first baby girl, Elizabeth, was born at Mount Elizabeth Hospital on 20 Dec 1979. Her parents named her after the hospital.
1979 - Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Medical Centre officially opened on 8 Dec 1979.
